Paper invoices are already regulated
Rules for paperless invoices have been defined
On the last 5/15/2019, the new Ordinance (144/2019) was published, which regulates the possibility of companies not issuing paper invoices, sending them by email, sms or making them available on a platform.

The new Ordinance requires that companies that communicate this option to AT, on the Finance Portal, use the automatic sending of invoices created to AT, as soon as they are closed.
Despite this option, this always depends on the customer's agreement, if the customer requires the paper invoice, companies will have to deliver the invoice in the traditional paper format.
